xBhp is pan India biking club.

‘x’ amount of Braking Horse Power. Where ‘x’ is any algebraic variable. Some prefer to say it is ‘x’tra braking horse power.

We have slogans to go with the name as well. ‘Anybike, Anyone’, ‘Bikers’ Haven’, but the most famous of them all ‘BHP, More is never enough!’

The xBhp Motto :

xBhp is committed to make biking a lifestyle in India and to take the Indian biker and youth on global level by harvesting it’s young talent in travel writing, photography and passion for bikes. And it is always ready for the next step...

xBhp is not just a website, it is not just a forum, it is a nation within a nation of India, nation of bikers, virtual online people mapping onto their real self offline, pan India.

It functions just like a real nation would do. A democracy is set up, with control important aspects of website and offline functionality given to our team. All citizens ( known as xBhpians ) can express themselves through the forums. Most content is moderated to curb abuse, racism and transgressions. Like in any nation, there are exceptions, disagreements and bifurcations.

Its a virtual biking nation mapping the real one on to the digital realm minus the traffic jams & revenue collectors.

xBhp does not discriminate on the kind of bike one may have or what he does professionally. As long one is a bike he is welcome aboard.

xBhp is always driven to initiate ideas and things in an innovative way with a fresh approach. From the design to the website to the moderations of the forums - everything are done by people who are bikers first. We also motivate people to mix biking with other productive hobbies like travel journalism, photography and of course making new like minded friends.

The main aim of xBhp is to provide a platform for bikers in India ( including NRIs ) and / or with an affinity to India to discuss everything about bikes under a single place. Other aims include general awareness about superbikes in India, touring in India and getting all kinds of bikers under one roof. Over the years xBhp has become a platform for talented bikers to show off their talent and get a jumpstart in the young motorcycling fraternity of India.

xBhp has been associated with many corporates and has delivered maximum possible content and services for free to it's members and providing maximum value and visibility to the corporates at the same time. Please see the Sponsors section to know what xBhp has achieved in the past with strategic associations with corporates.

xBhp had proved itself to be different when it conceived and executed a pan India roadtrip in 2006. the trip was christened as The Great Indian Roadtrip. A coffee table book also has been published on the trip. For the first time a club took a cavalcade which included a 12bhp scooter and a 170bhp Superbike all around India, making it an instant trendsetter. This was when whole of India was going through post-Dhoom movie effect & superbikes were just a rich kid’s status symbol and rowdy boy’s companion, xBhp redefined the meaning of biking and Superbiking in India.

After the success of the Indian trip, xBhp ventured out where some clubs and companies had tried to before - a trip outside India. In 2007 it gathered enough resources to execute The Great Australian Roadtrip with the help of Indian and Australian companies. It was the first time any private club/entity made serious efforts to take the India flag all across a continent in 72 days and 21,000kms. The trip was featured in leading automotive and lifestyle magazines in Australia and India for a total of 35 full color pages detailing the trip. We noted that there were hardly any Indians (out of the 1.3+ billion populace) going out and discovering the world the  roadtripper adventurer’s way. In an effort to change this, and to showcase developed countries to India in an effort to catalyze the change of biking in India as a lifestyle, xBhp, as a private club, did the unthinkable. It went to Australia and secured itself sponsors and a major magazine for a trip which even Australian’s couldn’t do in their own country. We got rave reviews for our photography, initiative and method of execution for the trip. Sporting the Indian flag on the bikes & riding gear was also special. The trip was supported by Australian Tourism as well and was featured in magazines such as Overdrive, Maxim & T3 in India and AMCN in Australia.

After proving ourselves twice over, we caught the eye of Kawasaki New Zealand, who invited us to their beautiful country to do a similar roadtrip. The Great New Zealand Roadtrip was conceived in a record two days and executed in 22 days over 8,100kms on a Kawsaki GT1400 grand tourer motorcycle. The photographs received rave reviews all across. Here is one comment that was left by a group of riders:

"It seems we were a day behind you traveling the same roads, your photos are a credit to your skill with the camera and your individual aptitude in ’seeing’ the good frame. Our team of 17 people with 17 cameras upon our 14 bikes and 1 support van, could not amongst us get a selection of scenic shots as good as yours.
Next time you are ‘downunder’ look us up - we’d love to host you or just simply join you on a portion of your journey if you’d like the company.
"

Therefore, we take the expression of the feeling of motorcycling as seriously as motorcycles themselves. And we express it through photos, travelogues and the online platform of xBhp.com
