Crusty fever has reached India with a huge one-off Show confirmed for Bangalore thanks to Mountain Dew.
The softdrink brand is keen to lift its presence and association with the Crusty Demons and have said that based on the
success of this Show, a full Indian Crusty Tour is likely in '06.

"Mountain Dew dares to bring in Crusty Demons

Bangalore , Oct. 21

SOFT drink brand Mountain Dew, in association with the Bangalore-based event management company DNA Networks,
is bringing stunt biking to India. The California-based Crusty Demons will perform extreme stunts on December 10,
at Palace Grounds.

The show will feature eight daredevil riders, on an assortment of dirt bikes and a snowmobile! They will perform tricks such
as back flips, the Kiss of Death and the Superman Seatgrab and will soar up to 45 feet in air. "The Crusty Demons are driven
by strong will power and the almost unquenchable thirst for action and entertainment," said Mr Andrew McLennan of Rush Sports
and Events International, of the Californian team. The troupe comprises Australian Robbie Maddison, `Mad' Mike Jones, Alaskan
James Fejes (a.k.a. Jimmy Blaze), Jon Guetter, Blake Williams, Steve Mini, Joel Balchin and Matt Shuebring. This is their first
show in Asia.

Mr T. Venkat Vardhan, Managing Director, DNA Networks, said, "The event will be up to international standards. We chose
Bangalore considering factors such as layout and track. It is also convenient in terms of location." Ms Punita Lal, Executive
Director for Marketing, PepsiCo India, added that the number of youth in the city also was a deciding factor in bringing this
thrilling sport.

Promos using the short messaging service (SMS) and online games and contests will help stir up excitement. Starting October 27,
on-ground promotions called `Dew Dares' will happen in 13 cities. Four hundred participants and over 5,000 people are expected to
land in Bangalore in December. The next event by DNA Networks, to be held on December 2 and 4 in Mumbai and Bangalore, is Campus
Rock Idols. Finnish rock band The Rasmus will play in the cities and also act as the jury for the contest."
