My Space

A sentence that says it all, “An explorer by passion, a designer by profession, open minded by heart and a quick thinker by wits”. Yes, that’s me.

As an above average kid in class, studies never used to occupy me. It was the interest in technology, adventure and all the technical terminology that kept me awake for long hours. For me my school days were the best days of my life, till date that is. From my school days, I have been an adventure seeker, taking the longest way to school on a bicycle, going on weekend trips with friends, taking part in almost all the sports that my school had to offer, whether its hockey, cricket, basketball, long jump or my favorite football.

I got a chance to be a part of them all. Even now I do indulge myself in a game of cricket or football. Being an only child never had a negative effect on me. It made me a self-learner, a go-getter and a believer that nothing comes easy as it’s the hard work that counts. It gave me a chance to explore and acknowledge the world around. The fact that “We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give” has added a new meaning to my life.

I always wanted to be a part of a growing career and yet be unique in a way. Computer boom came and consumed a lot of available manpower. As Animation and Graphics always enthralled me, so the decision to be a part of this ever-growing creative industry was the best bet. By being a part of the creative industry I got a chance to connect with different people, different cultures and I truly believe that it’s a never ending process. I have worked with Corporates (9 to 5 routine), media houses (9 to late night routine) and also freelanced (take your time routine) a bit. With the due course of time I also developed an interest for photography. And I must say it’s very addictive. The moment you start clicking, you are in a different world.

I used to be a movie buff till the date I joined the corporate world. But still I take out time to catch a movie or two with my friends. Sci-fi and cartoon movies fascinate me the most. As far as music goes, I can keep on listening to any kind of music all day. I am not a genre follower. And yes I am talking about music and not its lyrics. Music has to be catchy no matter what the lyrics are.

After joining the earning population of the country, I started saving for the next big thing in my life. Yes a bike. The day I got my bike, my exploratory nature got a new mode of traveling and exploring the world around me. And the urge to know more about bikes got me in touch with xBhp, the online biking community. It offered a plethora of information not only about bikes but general topics as well. It also gave me a chance to know people from all over the world having same interests and ready to share their insights about anything and everything. My desire to travel and see the world around was also taken care of as I got a chance to be a part of some trips along with my fellow xBhpians from the Hills of Himachal Pradesh to the Deserts of Rajasthan. And that sure is not the end. Still more to come by the grace of god.
