We had approached Force Motors in Pune to provide us with their vehicles as backups. They had agreed but they kept us dancing to a tune that we couldnt hear. After two months of following up and false reassurances from Force we finally gave up on them for good decided to hire our own backup with driver - The Tata 207 with Gurjant Singh from Chandigarh. As it was proved during the trip it ws brilliant move because the 207 never gave us any problem despite the way it was driven by Gurjant, the official driver, Gasoline, Skyscraper and Bunny. We used the 207 to store our Red Bulls, mineral water, clothes, spares, tools and of course if any bike that would break down.
