The riding gear ( jacket, trousers and gloves ) were provided by Angels Racing. The helmets that were used in the GIR were sponsored by BIKE India on request. They are GP1 helmets made by Steelbird in India. The jackets and trousers provided by Angels Racing were of a very high quality and had an inner removable ( zip type ) mesh to protect against cold. Strategic areas were also padded with reasonably thick polymer materials. The external fabric was very durable and waterproof providing us a complete array of protection against the elements as well decent protection against any mishaps. The gear also had reflective strips to make the rider more visible in the night.
