I got myself a Black R15 last month from Pacer Motors Bangalore...had given it for servicing day before yesterday...was not very happy with the servicing...not a noticeable difference in riding smoothness after service; thought the bike was smoother automatically after 600 odd km...more importantly I wanted to change the silencer cap which got damaged when another bike rammed into mine from behind just before the servicing was due
...but the guys dont have the spares in stock; not even in the warehouses
...so I have to ride with a twisted cap till the part arrives.
Also I asked them about Teflon coating for the bike...the showroom guys gave me a cost of 2500 bucks
; and suggested to go for Laquering instead, saying that it lasts much longer; but costs 5k!!!
Can anybody throw more light on this? Is laquering effective and is the cost justified? or can I get it done from somewhere outside?
Also could someone please tell me if fitting HID lights would void the warranty?I'm especially not happy with the single light on low beam...
