Ideally a higher octane petrol would be nice to use for this fuel injected mill...

I have been using Speed 97 from day one in my P-220 and it has done around 3 tankfuls till date. The plus point with such premium fuel (Speed 97) apart from the higher octane rating is that the quality is assured. Since this is dispensed from the company owned fuel stations (at least in Pune).

Moreover, I have been using the same fuel for my other bikes too...and have found that they run cooler and are less prone to knock...

You can most definitely try a tankful of all that you have stated just to compare which suits your riding needs. One word of advise...try the Speed 97 after you have tried all others. In Pune, Speed 97 retails at Rs. 70/liter.
