1. Dont worry dude... RTR is quite capable of making long rides.. It wont damage the engine even if u run at high speeds for considerable time but only thing u need to make sure is TAKE AN ATLEAST 15 MINS OF PIT STOP AFTER EVERY HOUR OR 1.5 HOUR RIDE. reasone being this is an air cooled engine and why take chances for engine to break down. I myself hav been to Goa from mumbai on Honda Activa. Then later to bangalore ooty mysore on my pulsar 200. It is always recomended to take 15-20 mins haults after every hour or so riding. It doesnt mind then at what speeds u ride thru that hour or so. Engine wont giv any probs.

2. Well pre trip checks include checking the engine oil level and condition, adjust the stiffness of the rear drum brake(i dont knw if it's with disc or not, if with disc then no isseus), check ur tyre condition, check if the headlights r working properly or not also make sure to check the head light projection angle, coz sometimes the angle gets disturbed and the high beem goes way up in the sky making it useless.

3. Well hydbiker has suggested u a long list of stuff to carry along. So from my side i wud suggest u to carry a map which shows the entire route, a small torch, a water bottel(which u can use in case of getting fuel from the gas station if u run out of fuel) an extra spark plug and basic first aid kit. Rest of the things u can take as per ur choice and riding habits.

All the best..
Ride safe..Ride high...
Dont ride fast..Fly slow...
