Yes this is truly a confusing kind of experience. You cant tell who's in real need of help or whether it's a trap. Even in a genuine case like this, the person himself is a total ass who doesn't even know that he can just die in a crash at any moment and yet continues riding . You could have just have walked off in disgust and let the idiot be at the mercy of fate. I wouldn't have gone this far, or maybe i wouldn't have stopped at all...

i know maybe someday i might be in genuine need of help and then ill find no one to help me ..

I still remember that i was nearly robbed on the NH4 while returning from mutthathi trip in may. i never thought that i could be targeted by goons on a splendor... carrying a rod n a sickle. at first i didnt realise and i had slowed down, but then when i saw the rod n sickle and they were turning hostile (that is came dangerously close to me), then I ripped my bike at 110 ON the bad stretches of road near nelmangala which could have easily caused an accident. I ripped till i found the police booth near the toll gate and informed that i was being chased by goons and gave the description (unfortunately the number plate was in kannada so i couldn't read it)

for a 19yr old kid like me its really kind of traumatizing. after that incident I don't trust anyone on the road. I can't because my instinct tells me "save your own skin for tomorrow". No other stranger can be my companion on a ride in lonely stretches.

although in cities , when there are people around i might stop to help a fella to get petrol for his bike / scooty , or give a lift to a school kid, i feel secure to do a good thing in presence of others around. at least i know i have a chance to evade any nasty incident if it has to occur. but at night when there's not even a soul in sight...

@satyen what was the time around which this incident took place ? i assume around 10-11pm ? ideal time for drunkards to return home. and in this case the idiot was lucky that the bullet didnt mash his limbs when he first had fallen probably !

Never argue with an idiot, he'll bring you down to his level and beat you with his experience
