That is what sums it up for me. Its about the best tool for the occasion - and enjoying it while it lasts.
For arrow straight roads like Rajasthan, I'd prefer a train, a bus or a car
or a land rover for dune bashing. Our desi bikes are a waste of time for the same.
For the mountains, bikes anyday. For horrible no roads/ interiors, again bikes!
Just not worth it beating drums about "being a biker" or singing paeans about it.
