Chail has already been the destination for one overnight G2G and it was a real nice one.
@Sherry: Have you discussed with the members who are majorly interested in this ride, whether they would be free on the dates you have mentioned (especially 7th March - Saturday)? I hope you have done your home-work.
Moreover, what about the accomodation options at Chail? I do not think there are many hotels available there. There is this one guest house where we stayed when we all went which was really good. What if the group cannot find any accomodation there!? Then what would be '
Plan B'?
One last thing that I would like to mention here is if anyone does not have their proper vehicle paper(s) with them, please get it ASAP! It could be the RC, the insurance papers or the PUC certificate. Please make sure everyone has each and every document in place. Before starting off for the ride, each and every document of each riders present should be thoroughly checked and anyone found lacking in any of the above document(s) must be promptly asked to leave. No compromises on that front.
Total Distance from Delhi to Chail - 352 odd kms.
Total Time - 9-10 hours.
Taking that time frame into consideration, if the group starts positively by 4:30am max, Chail must be in the vicinity by 3pm or thereabouts. Anyhow, let's see how this thread progresses.
