I'll just answer your question on reliability. Simply putting it, the 220 of today is loads more reliable than it was when it was launched. But still its not yet as reliable as the ZMA.
I can assure you the 220 of today is reliable enough not to leave you stranded on a highway!

I had to move abroad and no one at home were ready to maintain the bike. So, decided to sell it off. I would've got the p220 if the waiting period was not that long in '07.
