I don't know....R125 launch or not....but I feel that the R125 may not have a good market response in India...biggest reason...I don't think it comes cheap...in its current avatar might even be more expensive than the R15....its too radical and sporty.
A sportbike like an R1 or Fireblade would still sell in good numbers because their market is different...and the people who fell under this market don't shy away from buying these motorcycles....but the same cannot be said for the R125....in a country like India, 125cc means mass market, which R125 is not catered to...people will still buy an R1 but will not really invest a lac rupee for R125...Yamaha have already launched quite a sportbike in R15....and I don't think they will again launch a sportier 125cc which atleast looks more expensive than the R15!!!
Moreover, Yamaha was able to rebuild its performance image with the launch of R1, MT01 and R15.....now it doesn't need R125, reall
