This time they just removed the front wheel and fitted it back and the bike's handling was back to its self. The front wheel had a mis-alignment issue. After that I was almost riding with one single hand or without touching the handlebar at varying speeds and for varying distances. The bike absolutely felt stable. Hopefully it stays the same. Hey, can you throw more light in the "front wheel alignment" ?? I know how the rear wheel can be aligned but have no clue about the front one...I too seem to be having an alignment issue and thought it cannot be rectified without a fork-change or rim change! :|
