guys,
spotted the new bajaj platina with factory fitted o.e lpg kit in one of the bajaj showrooms in coimbatore when i went to service my p-200 and its a gj regd. vehicle. got a chance to ride the bike and its "
awesome
" when compared to the normal version of the platina, and also the engine is more refined and responsive. has a petrol tank which holds 5 lts of petrol and a gas tank right under the petrol tank(so well fitted that it cant be seen normally) which holds 5 kgs of lpg. all the instruments need to change the fuels to power up the engine is located in the right side of the handle bar. the right side instrumentation comes with the lpg level & fuel level indicator.
although there is no tweaks in the engine in terms of performance, the engine can be described in two words "smooth & refined".
