LOL the guy which told u bout the carbs seems brilliant.the carbs r syncronized to lift together and both have independent fuel lines.the cylinders fire alternatively.
The coils can be checked by a multimeter.
Apart from the std size there are 4 oversizes avbl,though yamaha recommended just upto .50 over or 2nd over.
Sadly ppl alter jets too,put smaller mains to get milage.They should buy a step thru if they need milage.jets should be atleast 140 mains and 25 pilots.don't buy a bike running chambers.
