On another note, how did the GoldWing perform in India? I am asking with regards to quality of fuel, bad roads, etc. Did it require any attention here&if yes, who was able to provide it?

We all hope to ride for as long as we possibly can.

India is not the only place where they found bad roads. Remember, they were in Africa before, and the Syrian and Jordanian deserts. Tunisia and Egypt does have very good roads, I can vouch for that. But some other places do not have that good roads. In fact, from Amritsar to New Delhi, they have not had too many bad road problems in India.
The bike has not had any problems either since he has been on the lookout for "decent" looking petrol bunks and has been taking "Premium" petrol. His service done at KRP has been a thorough checkup of the vehicle with oil change etc. He had lost some nuts on the way that were replaced here. Peter has been showering praises on the way KRP has looked after his bike and their professionalism. Coming back to the Goldwing, there has been no real problems whatsoever so far.

I have not had any further news from them. But from my last conversation with them, they are scheduled to go to Déogarh Mahal Palace today and spend the night there. There is an article of that place by me lying around somewhere in the Tourer section.
