I have been following the below method in the days when I owned CBZ -X.

Before starting the bike first time for the day. I use only the Kick Start, With ignition tuned off. Kick the bike few times like 5-6 times with clutch engaged and 5-6 times with clutch disengaged....alternate times. This helps the stagnant oil in the crank to push up into the engine and between the clutch plates and gears too. This helps engine to be pre-lubricated before it actually runs on its own.

Later I kick start the bike and keep it on idle for atleast 3-40 secs before starting the ride.

And not crossing 3500RPM for 3-4 kms.

This has been usefull mechanism for me.
