This is precisely what Bajaj need to learn. This is what you call a company that is true to its customers loyalty and the fact that they care about their existing base as well as their potential customers.
Unlike Bajaj they havent screwed their existing customers over the modifications. They've grown in stature for me with this decision. Great going Yamaha.

absolutely correct, and i m sure those who are complaining that Yamaha is just going h.honda & bajaj way by just offering variants of FZ's would get their answer in the year 2010.What Yamaha is doing right now is necessary for them as they had to establish their base first in the premium segment, and now that they have done it with R15,FZ,FZ-S & new Fazer(as the record goes even it will be successful) i am very much sure that next year their will be bombardments in each and every segment whether it be scooterates,125cc(performance oriented),100 cc(performance oriented) and last but not the least more variants on R and FZ series(ofcourse 200cc or above).Just mark my words it will be very difficult to stop Yamaha in 2010.and this is just the beginning.
