That avalanche incident could have been dangerous. You have seen as much snow at these passes that one gets to see in Iceland!!!
Funny to see you riding with boots in one foot and sandals in the other. I also see one of the bus drivers (probably) wearing sandals and walking on the snow. Must have been pretty cold. I wonder how you managed to ride with sandals on. I would have probably lost my toes.
