Have you used Motul chain clean? If you use it regularly you don't need to use anything else. It removes all the dirt. Kerosene is only used for cleaning very stubborn dirt.
I use Motul chain clean&then Yamalube dry type chain spray once in every 1500kms.or whenever the chain starts making noise.
Last time it lasted me 1500kms.with 3 heavy rain rides&water washing every weekend. I got it relubed when the first hint of noise started, but it rained heavily the same day! No difference to the lube though. If it were Motul lube, I would have had to run back to the SVC the next day. Not to mention my rear alloy&number plate being sprayed black.
