Yamaha may not want its bikes to be ridden with mass market appeal.
All Yamaha products have always been over priced right?
Its like Jazz car from Honda..they have not made it like any other hatch back.Price is way above the rest.
A Jazz customer is different..well that TV Advt with the lovely song

Same is the case with the R15 and FZ right?
Think of an R 15 priced at 80K..think who would buy them..now look at who buys them..any sense
Well I dont know about their economics and financials...maybe they see more revenues in catering to select clients than go mass market..
Dont they need money???
But one thing is clear the big guns are slowly waking up from their sleep...well you know who and all...
It looks like within a span of a couple of years lots of true bikers are going to emerge from our India !!!
