I completely agree. They should clean it for free. It is mentioned in the service leaflet. I too had a bad experience when I explicitly told them to clean the chain for my 3rd service. The dumbass supervisor
(couldn't even understand the words in the manual) began to argue with me that I need to pay Rs. 100/- for the Chain cleaning.
His excuse: We use Motul chain clean and then lube. It will cost you.
What I didn't understand was that - The service center is required to complete all the items listed in the service instructions. It is mentioned in the manual to clean and lube the chain. Let them use whatever God Forsaken products to accomplish that. It should be free!!! Why the hell would they charge us for it.
If they want to charge us, they should probably supply new manuals with that item removed from them and a public apology for the mis-statement.
