4. Is it mandatory to have insurance while driving in India? Yes, with up to date policies.

5. If a vehicle doesn't have insurance how much fine is charged? Same as 2.

6. Is State Police authorized to check helmet/documents etc from commuters? I too have doubts on this one. But, I believe they are authorised.

7. What is the importance of Traffic Police if State Police can do all this work?

8. For checking of this sort who gives the orders?
