I dont understand why people are cribbing about the Ninja . 3 lac. is a good price for a multicylinder sportsbike which has come via the skd route. Make a simple calculation Yamaha R1 is 1000cc costs 12lac plus , now divide it by 4 , you have 250 cc and 3 lac.

Also its exactly the same bike that is available abroad without any India specific changes.
Regarding the analog meters and lack of fuel guage are just minor issues, whats important is that this bike hits 100 kmph in 7 sec and goes on to a top speed of 160+ kmph. Its the practical bike with more than adequate power for Indian conditions. Just think about how many people owning the Yamaha R1 or Honda CBR 1000RR or Suzuki Hayabusa have been able to explore all the massive power these machines have or have been on roads where they can reach near 300 kmph speed the above machines go to.
The Ninja is a good bike and all good things come at a price!
