no permanent solution yet. Suzuki was supposed to work on it, but no feedback on this.
*) squeaking sound from front brake/suspension
didn't experience this.
*) old rectifier/regulator ( serial number xxxxxxAA found next to engine, should be changed to xxxxxxBA ) - mine is indicationg xxxxxxAA. What is the problem with it and is it a MUST to replace this with xxxxxxBA?
Even I am looking for a definitive answer for this.
*) very high heel shifter - I guess this can be adjusted
no, it can't. It's just a matter of getting used to it.
*) handle bar height adjustment - somebody in this forum mentioned that it can be lowered in service center. is it true?
Yep. If your hands are paining due to current position, make it as nearer to you as possible, so it will be bit low. Very comfortable on long rides.
*) handle lock - left side not locking properly. can it be corrected?
No. It's like a function, can't be cured.
*) Tank rust issue - how to verify this?
*) poor grip of front tyres - I find the front tyre is having less grip. any solutions/suggestions?
YMMV, I felt the grip was alright. You can always go for a change of tire. Make sure you are maintaining correct pressure in the tire (28psi)
*) vibrations at 3500rpm - I think it's a minor issue.
Yep, a minor issue. Don't bother about it.
Please comment on these issues. I will discuss them when I go to the service camp tomorrow.
Thanks for bearing with me.
