1. To begin with basic numbers: 1000 cc hatchback, 65-70 Bhp odd, whilst an average liter class bike is upwards of 160-170 Bhp, now the BMW rated at 193 Bhp.
2. Mostly, you would find an average big bike owner redline the bike, pull the throttle uselessly (on excusew of warming the motor), etc more often than your four door hatch driver.
3. If ridden at cruising speeds of 100-120 kmph in topmost gear, liter class bikes would yield in the range of 25 kmpl on a long distance trip. Believe it or not, I have seen an indicated 27 kmpl for a few seconds on my 954.
