If u r going to install HID, u need to boost the batt charging rate, without that, u cant run the HID not more than 30-45 mins depending on ur batt and alt charging rates. U cant say that no night rides less than 1 hr or so, bcz if the situation demands u need to drive at night regardless of the HID batt backup. So be prepared.
P220 lens is a low beam projector, and results are very impressive, for the high beam u can use the spots like the one u've mentioned. Am using it just for the flashing purpose, but beam spread is too narrow. Also u can opt for car fogs is the best, as the beam spread is very wide but wont go far, thats the limitation. If u can find a dedicated HB sealed beam like in P220 its the best. Hey, why dont u post some pics of ur projector mod?

Hmmm yeh even while doing the mod, i had the option of HID, but for some reason, i am not too fond of it, and moreover the intensity from the projector is wonderful, so i don't see fingering with electrical worthy of the effort. Moreover, my bike being over 8 years old, uses the lowest grade battery. If you remember, Suzuki Fiero did not even have a self starter. So the battery is surely not upto the mark. I would have to get a more juicy battery.
I don't have any pics of fitting it and all, but yes, i have a couple of pics where you can see the Projector inside the Dome. Shall hunt for it and post.

As i mentioned, i am sure, battery will not have the juice, I would have to go for a brand new one.
All i need at this point of time is a High Beam. A beam that's almost parallel to road, does not spread too much and is bright. That's it.
