I reckoned that I would atleast need 5-6 links of chain, but I was wrong. All I needed was one single link and it worked I could get the chain to fit. The new CEAT tires adds a nice touch to the ride.

Had to open up the carb and clean out all the muck. Riding without an air filter does have its disadvantages .

Since the OE sprocket had 10 tooth more than the one I am using, the throttle response was something I cant describe. I was guessing the bike would do a sub 65kmph and would saturate, but no, our warrior does 70.85kmph on OE sprockets!!

Just when I and my bro were starting to have some fun, there comes a Pulsar guy, trying to show off. This time around I was tired of being hesitant to petty road side drags and I was the one who had the last laugh this time. All this is stock reeds and small carb. I can only wonder what would be the consequences if I get the Shogun's carb and reeds like the track going ones, Ball$ in mouth !!

Ah yes the fun of wrenching and being a grease monkey just to make your bike go a little faster! How could I forget that? Maybe living in land-of-no-motorcycles-officially has faded away my memories of life as a biker! By the way a jump from 83 to 88 for your ride is no trivial achievement. Heck I would prod my scooty to death just so to make it go beyond 60!
One last stupid question: Have you done or thought about sprocketing?
a lil bit of reading helps
