These are the most well known on XBHP and a lot of people use them or have used them. I'm currently using 5100 15W50 and it works like a charm, should last for about 2500-3000km. Yes, I know Bajaj gives the oil change interval for the 220 dtsi as 5000km, so be my guest and see if oil lasts that long. Personally, I would change it after about 2500km for SS and 5000 to 6000 for FS.
There was one person here who faced the problem of oil seal leakage upon shifting to fully synthetic. Did you face such problem while you changed the oil to SS?
