There is a difference this time:
>> For the CT100 and the Platina the USP was a LOW Price and good features (
like alloys etc.)
>> For the XCD 125, the USP was the promise of unbelievable mileage, with a 125 cc engine, at a price equal to 100 cc bikes.
But this time, the USP is the "Discover Brand" that is pulling in the sales; despite being a 100 cc engine and being priced similar to the other 100 cc competition.
Product features can be copied (
alloys, self start now are on every other bike) and pricing can be matched (
the CD Deluxe and CD Dawn are lower priced)..
..but sustainable business comes from the strong BRANDS (
another example which sell because of its brand name is Splendor).
