Details for the Intercity G2G
ITINERARY FOR 11-12 DECEMBER
11 DECEMBER
From Bangalore
0800 : Meet at the meeting point mentioned in the map above (Silk board flyover)
0830 : Leave for Hoganekal
1030 : We stop in Krishnagiri to join with the chennai group (Krishnagiri is 91kms from Bangalore and 246 kms from Chennai)
So assuming that the Chennai grp leaves early (say 0600 or 0630 hrs) and maintains decent average of 50-60 kmph they should meet us by max 11 AM
1130 : We leave to Dharmapuri and reach hoganekal by 1300 hrs
1300 - 1800 hrs: We do whatever we want, coracle ride, swim, explore , eat, whatever!!
1800 : Leave to Dharmapuri
1900 : Leave to Salem
2030 : Reach Salem and find a place to sleep for the night
12 DECEMBER
From Salem
0730 : Leave to Yercaud (30kms)
0830 : Reach Yercaud and have brkfast
0900 - 1300: Roam around and see Yercaud
1400 : Have Lunch and leave back to respective cities
2000/2100 : Reach B'lore/Chennai
Necessities/Tips for the trip:
Carry a bag with ur documents/clothes/etc.,etc
Carry warm clothes as we may need some in Yercaud (maybe a sweater/jacket and gloves)
B'lore guys fill petrol to take u till Hosur, we can fill the tanks in hosur as petrol is cheaper there
Carry your mobiles and chargers..
A simple first aid kit
The total estimated expenses (maximum amount) should be around Rs.1400
Assuming:
600 kms of travel Rs.800
Food for two days Rs.150
Stay for one night Rs.100
Coracle ride and misc. Rs.350
