Man, u've connected 4 LEDs in series without resistors? It'll blow off within no time as the LED requires only 30ma for each one and the current from our batt is very very higher, so a resistor is a must. U've tackled the voltage now by making it in series and so is the case with the currrent too. There are few sites for LED resistor calculations.
