I'm glad that the traffic police have put up such an informative article.

I would like to reiterate here that just putting on a helmet is not sufficient. It is the strap/ fastener that saves one from injuries, and is as imporant as the shell of the helmet. As rightly pointed out here, it should filt snugly, and against the chin/ lower jaw.
It is not uncommon to see most 2-wheeler riders wear a helemt, and not fasten the strap.
