I dont know why people resort to Brand bashing when they have never used the particular product from that Brand.

the reliability factor that the people here are talking about is plain BS. if a person is prepared to take care of their bike ,even a bajaj bike will last a good 5-6 yrs without any problem at all and by that time most of the riders would upgrade to a new bike.

i had owned the Unicorn from the very 1st lot(got it within 15 days of its launch) for 5 yrs,has a Honda stunner at home and rides a 220 for the past 3yrs which is my favourite among the 3.when i decided on 220 over the ZMA a lot of guys tried to dissuade me citing reliability reasons.however i decided for the 220 coz i have never seen a well maintained bike (be it pulsar or honda) giving any problem. i have enjoyed my 220 to the fullest and never felt that it is not reliable or reliability is a problem.besides my 220 is cheaper to maintain than the japanese counterpart.

when by Bro wanted to buy the stunner i suggested him to wait for the new unicorn( shown in th auto expo) or the P135.but he wanted only looks and reliability hence bought stunner. result : now he is totally dissatisfied with the performance and after test riding his friend's P135 he regrets his decision of buying the stunner.what is the use of reliability when you can not enjoy it coz your heart is with some other bike.

My advice to the thread starter:

make a list of your preferance , like comfort, power, mileage, handling , braking , pillion comfort,styling etc. and keep reliability at the last coz neither gladi
nor the pulsar will show much depreciation in performance even after 5-6 yr s if you maintain your bike well.
take a test ride try to gauge the bikes on these aspects and take the reliability thing into account only if both the bikes fare equally in all the other criterias.
