issue with the CL500 is that you will need to have the digital tool to adjust the air fuel mixture at the higher altitudes. Which is done quite easily on a carburettor. And is even more easier on a FI bike, if you have the tool ( its just a matter of connecting, powering up, adjusting to the best possible setting, and testing the bike ).
Other than that the drop handlebars of the TBTS would be more comfortable. Thats the only thing i can see.
18 inch tyres should give better handling and grip, though at the cost of ride quality. Dunno what actual owners have reported.
