Octane 97 is not requiered nor recommended by Honda. Manual says 91.
The max I have clocked is 108 degrees celcius
Edit: no need to jump start your batterie ! Push the bike to anything above 10 to 15 kmph with your legs and shift into second gear. DO NOT SHIFT INTO FIRST GEAR ! The bike will start. Ride it hard after that and the batterie will be recharged !

Shell Super is 94 Octane. My bike loves this fuel. They call it 91+ due to some regulatory obligations. [source: Shell Official]
The '07 manual recommends 97 Octane. Will double check
I have seen 110 deg.C. on my bike. The second fan kicks in at 108.
Now jump starting your SBK is not something that you would want to do in the middle of the road when already you are a centre of attraction. God save me from this. I think I will atleast start her up everyday.
