Yes, its a 2 part chassis... Remember that news I gave from Zigwheels some months ago? It had a diagram about this concept.

It saves space, saves weight and has incredible rigidity; See my earlier post in this topic..

Ducati Desmosedici GP7 was the first bike to use this, AFAIK. The news mentioned that this chassis setup would move on to streetbikes too...
