Yes, this is my first thread in the 0Bhp-Bicycle section. And this is regarding a humble purchase I made. And this purchase was made to gift my son, Maël a new bicycle for his birthday. After numerous discussions with some riders in Delhi and artificialindulgence here and various visits to several showrooms of different kinds, I ended up with the bicycle that you will see shortly down below.
After discussing with ArtificialIndulgence I had initially decided to buy a BMX and went around looking at the Firefox Stations. I looked at other BMX as well. I am not very good at this but I did not find any BMX that had decent braking in the front wheel even after full adjustment. Not a single. I normally do not like things that do not stop well. That is when I decided away from a BMX and decided to go for an MTB. Here is where Puneet Agnidoot rider came with his help. His consultation suggested that Firefox cycles are good. But my concern was... is it worth the money we pay for. Nobody was so sure. Somehow I felt that they are pretty pricey. But they are very good nevertheless. At this juncture I was shown various other models and manufacturers at the Cycle Market in Central Delhi. I tried several of them too. Amongst all that, I decided to have a closer look at a brand called Suncross, the model called LOADED! Doublewall aluminium 26"x2.25 rims, Innova tyres with butyl tube, Progeometry Alloy frame, 21Speed Shimano Revo Shifter, Ventilated Dual Discs, Extra-long travel suspension... all for something like INR9200! This ofcourse being a special offer from Puneet since he is a wholesale dealer. The marked price on this product being INR11400. I tried the bicycle out for a while and I decided to buy it for Maël's birthday. I herein present the pictures of the gift. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The shifts: ![]() ![]() Riding for fun. ![]() He has been using it mostly for rough terrain riding. Hardly on road. He is really kicked and thoroughly enjoying it. I am enjoying riding it too. We often fight on who is going to ride it and how much. And I am beginning to rediscover the pleasures of riding a bicycle that I so often used to indulge in as a child. To contact the gentleman, Roger Puneet Agnidoot for bicycle queries and more details... +919810439506

Looks great! I am sure it would be wonderful to do some stunts on it (wheelies and a few stoppies)..
