Question Membership Ladder

Well, I tried searching the forum for this, but couldnt get it, so I decided to create a new thread.

Will someone please explain to me the membership ladder.
I Mean like we all start as a rookie but
after<insert number> posts we become intermediate member and
after abc posts we become senior member.

Or is there some other criteria?

lolz but on a serious note, why to give importance on how many posts has one done etc...its just interacting and sharing and finding and helping others with available knowledge.

I was thinking we should implement the reputation system on the forum...it is a better way than the senior or junior member thing. I'm pretty sure vBulletin 3.8.2 (the forum software) has this functionality.

That is a good idea. I second it.

You're a Junior Member till your 99th post, & become a Senior Member from your 100th post.

This not taking into consideration the quality, usefulness or relevance of one's posts.
So I second Tanay & Anurag's viewpoint here! There should be a reputational system in place.

There are few guys who go banzai posting to make "n" number of posts.I have pointed out one recently.

Hope they took out some time to edit the Custom user title.

Seems we guys are agreeing that we need a wee bit chaffing and some reward to members who contribute positively.
