Default How to Ignore Others Staring while riding the bike?

How to ignore others' stares while riding the bike.

I dont know why it happens. When i ride a bike I always feel conscious about what people will be thinking

Tell me how to fight this? I am very frustrated.

Moreover Now i am getting the new R15 (yellow colour) so more of them will stare at me which I dont like

What a strange topic of discussion!

I mildly edited your post and thread title. I am sure you are not really bothered by other people staring at you. If you were, you would not have ordered a "Yellow" R15!

This is a topic for psychotherapists to answer.

Please wait till you are 18 to ride a bike. May be that's why the people are staring at you!

Ha ha ha Man you sound like paris hilton or those page 3 modelling wannabes, 'Paparazzi keep on watching me'. The attention you seek on road is not enough, apparently, as you also expect xbhpians to 'look' at your post too!

I agree with Ken, this is a topic for psychotherapists, but NOT for the people who are staring!

Yes sir, really strange topic

If you're really a hard core biker, you'll think of nothing other than the road. Besides, thinking something & riding is totally unacceptable; when you're riding, there're so many things to do such as...
- Watch the RVM's including the blind spots
- Watch for the next move of the vehicle in front of you
- Have a peripheral view & see who'll be the next jaywalker
- Have an eye on the speedo
- Have a look on the road for the next pothole
- If the road is empty with less traffic, watch for any new upcoming shops
- Now its time to look at the RVM once again

Don't tell me you're thinking something beyond all these!!! or still have 8th point to think that someone's staring at you!!!

@aargee o you actually mean that just those 7-8 things occupy your mind when riding.very surprising indeed.

It takes very little of brain power to do those things.

I don't know about staring & all but I do think of a lot of things while riding --it does help me to chanelise my thoughts & give me a sense of freedom & alienation.

That is why precisely so many things have been said about riding from exhilarating to being free - all these are perceived notions of the brain & nothing else

True; well there're lots more to write like calculations & judgements being occupied most of the times - don't you agree? But how do I pen those down?

I sometimes notice the other vehicle's regn no too; try listening to my own vehicle's sound.

But what's surprising ? Are you saying they're too much or too little?

Getting away from the stares is very simple... Brake hard or accelerate hard....or better still, get a black colored luna. Or, if you are very desperate, try poking your finger in your nose or a$$ or genitals to piss off those looking at you!! Lol...

Buddy, seriously, there is no way to avoid staring ppl..get used to them.. they will stare at you for some reason or other..

This is very dangerous!!! I don't recommend this at all. Personally this could land up someone in deep trouble.

Post People Stare, You ignore!

Hey buddy!

Like all of the people who have answered your query, you should be busy enjoying your ride.

If they stare at you, when you preparing for a ride, wearing your gear, well think about the amount of fun you will have when you ride, with all the safety!

Just ignore! Riding an R15, is going to turn heads. Just smile knowing she's all yours!!!

And another request, if you face such issues in the future, recommend you to speak to someone before you start a thread.

I guess you don't enjoy someone having a laugh at your cost!!

Cheers!
