You will need a ADSL modem - the one which accepts a phone line. If you have friends with a BSNL modem, you can copy the settings easily.

Else, get a plain BSNL modem and connect a Wi-Fi router to it.

MTNL in mumbai is the best among the lot I heard. Most of my friends in mumbai use MTNL. Soon I guess even mumbai is going to have beam fiber. (A guy working for beam told me this) They are working on spreading their business through out india.

Here in hyderabad they're the best! 10Mbps for 1000 bucks. FUP - 30 gb. After which you still get 2 Mbps. I get a DL speed of 1.4 Mbps (during FUP)

Thumbs down MTS: Not a good choice

Hi all, few days back my boss purchased MTS (I suggested it to him), actication happened in 6 - 8hrs after purchase (they activate only after document submitted to the retailer reaches the MTS collection guys)

Download speeds (when using at off - Shivajinagar) were around 500kbps (as per the Mts software) when playing youtube videos, but the same device gave a shocking speed of 20kbps (same youtube video played at his residence) at Hennur Road (Outskirts of the city). Their customer car4e couldnot solve my issue. I called them twice and they successfully bluffed that their server is down and across the nation MTS devices would have trouble.

They assured that this will get fixed by 48hrs, its almost 4days now no call back from them, speed still s***s.

If you are in heart of city there are chances you will get average speed, but once you are on the outskirts, it is worse than your mobile GPRS.

The MTS device connects to the nearest 3G tower, If that fails, it connects to the nearest mobile tower (2G tech) and provides you at GPRS speeds.

Default Beam the beast

I am running on a plan 15 mbps for 1500 Rs per month
you will get 15 mbps until 40 GB after that the speed will be reduced to 4 mbps for more than 40 Gb in a month. Sounds gr8 right

Hi,
If any member using reliance gets such email, he/she can ignore it as it is spam email which is confirmed by reliance customer care.

afaik rustock bot net was brought down some time back, you may want to run malwarebyte antimalware or super anti spyware or windows defender/malicious removal tool scan just to bee on the safer side, make sure you update them before scanning
