Default You can help xBhp recover.

I'm starting this thread so people can repopulate the xbhp server.

How?

1. Google Cache. Search for the topics you remember, google for them, and click the 'Cached' link. Find more pages by clicking on the 'View Similar Pages' link under each search result.

Work fast before Google updates the Cache with a 'page not found'.

2. The Internet Archive: Click on this link and look for versions of xbhp. Many important topics can be salvaged.

These two methods are pretty effective, the only need is of manpower.

So I guess, if each one of us looked for our favorite topics and reposted them in a simple copy paste text only format as a new topic (don't take more than a Ctrl+C Ctrl+V), we can repopulate the servers pretty fast.

Of course, this is apart from the archives each one of us has on our computers.

Cheers and a speedy recovery to xBhp.

P.S. I got a kick out of my old profile setup.

Thanks for this initiative Manas! We have got a lot of content offline too, but we decided to post it slowly rather in one go. The Google cache will really help.

I am looking for my first impressions on the :

  • Fireblade 2008
  • Hayabusa 2008
  • Honda Stunner
  • Apache RTRFi
If any one has by any chance saved (i need the text only) either of the above it will be great to have them back!

I am also looking for :

  • The Great Australian Roadtrip blog text (does anyone have this please?)
Thanks!

Oh my god, this is fantastic! Every single blog from the GIR has been recovered from the archive as it was. Now the GIR website is effectively as the way it was. I just have to insert the pictures into the GIR blog and it will be the way it was.

I a m now onto the GAur blogs, if that can be recovered then we wont have lost anything from the Indian and Australian trip (all the pictures/videos are backed up in high res along with the website on my local hard disk). All the blogs of the GNZ trip were luckily backed up on my local HDD.

Thanks Manas and Inder, you are lifesavers!
