Thumbs up

Watched Karthik calling Karthik yesterday afternoon. We understood its a case of Schizophrenia, as my Mom is a psychological counsellor herself!
Neverthless, a good movie to watch, I felt happy atleast they didn't copy Beautiful Mind!

Watched 'seven samurai' at last. What a movie it was! I could not believe it was shot in 1950's. Direction is perfect, acting is perfect, cast is perfect. Neve felt it was a 3.2 hour movie. Mr. Mifune is the show stealer. Also, I am happy to learn the most of the blockbusters of Kurosawa are with Mr. Mifune. Wating for the rest of Kurosawa's movies.

And Thanks a lot to Ken for introducing Kurosawa to me.

watched Enemy At The Gates
in one word,it was awesome.Excellent acting by the cast, gripping action, one should not miss it if he/she is a fan of snipers and stuff like me.

Tried to watch these :

The Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans--After watching few minutes, i straight way deleted it,w/o looking further.

State of play--preserved.I must be in good mood to watch this film.

Watched First Day last Show, in 3D, bole toh Chashma lagake...

Alice in Wonderland : Amazing movie, superb ART Direction n CG was mind blowing... Johnny Depp at his comical best. Not the one to miss.

Spider-rating : 9.5/10 (0.5 taken coz of an abrupt ending)

@Spiderweb: Thanks for that one-liner on Alice In Wonderland. I am myself going to watch it in a day or two. Very much an anticipated movie, as far as I am concerned.

I also watched "Rokkk" and "Athithi..." last week, and didn't quite like either of the two. Rokkk is ANYTHING but a genuinely scary movie. It does NOT scare you. Yes, there are bits and pieces spread across the movies - one scene here, a couple of minutes there, but NOTHING as compared to some decently good Hindi horror outings like "1920" or "Bhoot", etc.

Athithi - well, it really bored me. The subject matter is good, but the intermittent songs really induced yawn many-a-times. However, the penultimate 15-20 odd minutes is gripping!

I admit "bhoot" is a decent horror movie, but 1920 is not that good when it comes to scaring ,in fact i laughed during the climax and during many scenes here and there, they were really comic.
