Default United We Stand...

I am absolutely sure you all must have heard of this age old adage - 'United We Stand, Divided We Fall'. Well, what I'm about to write or share with you all is not really meant to be any preaching or anything. It is something that I, as an xBhpian feel. This is something which I have been noticing for quite a long time now.

At first I thought, perhaps, it is a passing phase and it will all be over in a certain period but I have been proved wrong time and again and how!

In quite a number of threads I have noticed that a sane, normal, naive topic suddenly turns into something like a bait for various members. And then, the inevitable happens - people start cribbing/ fighting/ arguing on some of the most useless things/ issues which perhaps don't even need to be looked at more than once!

I thought we all are here in this forum to share something, to learn something from each other in a subtle way. Ofcourse, arguments will be there in a public space where there are so many souls, but then I sincerely believe a healthy argument/ discussion is where the real learning happens. Not the childish/ juvenile way WE ALL have been behaving lately.

This is seriously disappointing. At times I've been bound to think what am I doing in between all these people who think "I am better" attitude is always better. This ego will take us nowhere. Believe me! There is a fine line between "ego" and "self-respect" and time and again, we have been crossing that line in some way or the other.

xBhp has always been about "WE" and not "I". Let us remain that way, for the times to come.

Thanks.

P.S: This is NOT a bloody moderator message or ANY kind of warning or something remotely related to that. Remember, I AM an xBhpian first, and then a moderator of this forum we all have come to know as our second home.

We have made enough of fools of ourselves. Now, let us get back to where we belong!

Cheers to us, cheers to motorcycling.
-Aryan

Bhaiya, two days later I would have actually put up a similar thread.
Talking about the "I am Better' attitude, people ,especially xbhpians should actually not potray it in such a loud form! I know this is very natural but should be kept where needed.

Da, yes was feeling the same. Brand wars, etc etc. And we gain nothingout of it. Not even informative, not worth stuffing the facts in your head.

ITs quite easy to get flared up as well. one criticism about the bike and the other brings another bike to spew venom at. well that's leading to nowhere.

I am a peace loving animal and I just stay away ...

hopefully this message does get across. its about time as well.

I agree Aryan Da. We all must cultivate a We habit rather than the I attitude...

It's like this in all most every forum on the internet Aryan but I agree with you that past few months we haven't been talking much productive. I have limited myself from participating in forum upto 70% of what I use to back in 2005-06, not because I have nothing to share but I have stopped posting useless and nonsense things and reply to threads that I shouldn't even bother about. From now I have also decided that will quote only when I think I should really need to.

I guess aryan this is the best thing u have written as a xbhp member I liked it alot. Stop fighting on the forums just mean business and enjoy the good points of the other and start using some good sence to improve yourselves rather than just nagging your nose in a stupid behaviour. It is time that youngsters broad there minds and enjoy the reall biking spirit I guess.

Ps: Dont take me wrong I am not here to fight I enjoy all the post made here or there. Feel good and always talk sence. Thats it.

Dada has finally spoken his mind..
The xBhp biking brotherhood oughta heed to this advice.

Not sure if this threads gonna work though. Even pleas for peace on a thread gone awry, work rarely

Ive seen umpteen number of threads being locked for the slam-bang reason..

The replies im seeing here are from Xeno, Bandhav etc who are again never the perpetrators.

Hope the real culprits learn something...

Cheers..!!
