don't say that man. dogs are the most loyal animals you'll ever come across. The same dog whom you called useless would have given his life to save you if situation arose. I can bet anything on that. And as far the breed is concerned, golden retrievers are extremely hyper active..

Gosh! How can you call that uber sweet thing useless! If you really loved him, he wouldn't be thought of in such utilitarian terms...

you shouldn't compare a living breathing animal to a materialistic piece of machinery dude...even if my dog short circuits the electricals of my R1 by pissing on it... i would just have to shrug and say bad luck...it doesn't mean the dog is useless...it just doesn't know the value of things like we do..it just knows one thing....that its master is its world and will do anything to keep him happy or save him from trouble

Dont get me wrong i really loved that thing just look at it i would be lying if said i did not love my dog.The thing is this breed is very intelligent and very fragile. One time we all went to our grandpas house in ooty so we put him in a shelter for a week when we came back the dog looked like it cried the whole week infact the shelter guys said it was not even eating properly thank god we did not delay a day or two if we did it would have surely died of depression. It will always find ways to piss me off like chewing my textbooks .This breed knows its place in the family we never used anykinda chain to tie the thing it never enters the kitchen, never comes into the pooja room very sophisticated dog.

True dude i was wrong i admit. All golden's are truly therapeutic dogs
they kinda know when your are upset When i am sad my golden will just come and sit next to me looking at me all the time it will look like its saying " Boss why so sad i am here" sometimes it will come and shake my hands when i am sad.I still remember that day i was sleeping it came and licked my face disturbing my sleep i kinda lashed out at the poor dog calling him"saniyane po" after sometime my mom was screaming that the dog was lying motionless in the hall i immediately knew something was seriously wrong(my mom never screamed like that) so ran to the hall their my beloved dog was lying motionless i kinda shook it,lifted it(it was too heavy) did not know what to do its tongue was hanging out felt helpless at that exact time my dad entered the house he was like what happened i told him in tamil" julie sethu pochu pa" and all my pain just burst out of my aching heart in uncontrollable tears.

Hi Sarbanoxley

No Dogs are useless in this world, Pets are like kids We need to love them and enjoy every moment

Here is what I can say about Dog -

That loves through 'n through He'll love, tho' he is unloved,
And he'll serve tho' badly used, And one kind word will wipe away
The times when he's abused.

Although his heart may break in two His love will still be whole,
Because God gave to every dog An understanding soul!
A companion, a pal, A very best friend. Someone to trust,
To love 'til the end. Someone to trust, When feeling blue.
Always a smile, It always greet you. Always a smile,
To dry up your tears. A person to be there, To quiet your fears.
A person to be there, When lonely or sad. Loving regardless,
If hating or mad. Loving regardless, If caring or cruel.
No matter what, Genius or fool. No matter what, They stand by you.
Who is this person, Have you a clue? Who is this person? I'll tell you who - This is your pet,
