The first time I met him, the way he called my name he made himself feel like an old friend of mine and that contagious smile all the time. For sure he was gifted when it came to PR. People throughout india in xbhp know / have heard / met / interacted with him. He was and always will remain famous, never carried an attitude - I mean he did carry an attitude which made everyone feel comfortable in his company.

I remember in one of our drag meet there was some teens doing wheelies etc on the other side of the road without any riding gear. Many of us ignored, few thought of going and scolding them but then the Gem himself went and spoke to them with a smile, trying to make them realise the importance of riding with protective gear, he was a coach, mentor, inspiration to many.

He sure was gifted for somany people knew him, approached him for various things and he was always there for everyone, he hardly missed anyones calls, if he did, he always got back. Trust me I haven't known anyone else in the three + decades of my life who handled so many relations with such elegance.

Atleast the hyderabad chapter of Xbhp will never be the same, cause he was the one who was most serious when it came to G2Gs. Be it on deciding on the venue, calling up people for the meet etc and all this for no personal gain.

Why such an event with him? I might not sound very sensible but atleast he died doing what he loved most. Apart from this, life is something that is controlled by the almighty and he alone can answer all the WHYs, he is the big boss, everything goes per his plan so can't question him, tooooo small to even understand his plans. They say gifts can't/shouldn't be taken back, but then that rule only applies to humans - God had decided to send him as a gift for his family, friends and XBHP and then he decided to take the gift back.

Everyone knows that he was an awesome biker but what impressed me most was his heart. Bro you willl always remain alive in everyones heart.

I am so shocked reading this news...i was inactive on xbhp for few months....just returned from a biking trip and thought shall check the posts here, and i get to read this !!!!!

I dont know what to write because no matter what i write...the news itself has killed something in me. It has suddenly burnt my excitement. I see how vulnerable we are every time we are out on the roads tryin to enjoy our innocent passion called BIKING.

In my trip even i experienced something similar on the jaipur ajmer highway(which is 6 lane). The driver who was driving in the centre lane carelessly decided to overtake the truck in front of him without checking that there is a small bike on its right. I was shocked to see the truck suddenly coming on me. I was lucky that i had my R6 which had lots of usable power and speed and i moved on my right n sped away. Had i been on my cbzee...i too might have been under the truck.

So you see everytime i get such news....a fear makes home in my heart...you never know when somebody's carelessness or maybe mine can lead into such a BIG punishment for me and my family and my friends.

All i can say is we all have to be extra careful when it comes to biking... and the passion that we chose...has such a big side effect

I am still thinking about his wife...god give her strength to come out of this.

I'm loggin here after more than a month and when i read about kriss's death, my heart just skipped a beat. My mind couldn't believe what i just read, i dint personally know him, and i'm relatively new in xbhp but i felt the same sorrow as did his closest friends...May his soul rest in peace and god give strength to his family to bear this unquantifiable loss.

I am really very sorry to be here in this place, after ages have passed and so many loved ones hurt.I am here today to justify myself, to recover from a shock,a shock that drove me to check the behaviours of drivers on fast highways,for months,................after observing which I came to conclude,an accident is called so because it occurs without any warnings.It is us who should not let it happen to ourselves.

I am more amply shocked because I resemble some of Kriss's traits someway......for that matter every biker does.To most of my G2Gs I tend to arrive earlier or later.In case of group riding,at times I ride alone faster for few kms and then wait for others to catch up.My fellow bikers knows me,hasnt got a problem with that, a second leader takes the charge of the group while I am ahead.I ride a Suzuki bike and I am really intent on buying the Busa with all plans in my mind.I along with few others of my city are very commited to Xbhp.Kriss's incident left me bewildered and confused about myself.

In my last ride, I hit one of the roads really hard...........cruising at the non advisable Top Speed of my bike for over 90kms at a stretch, what I felt is that if someone hasn't got a good sleep or is just out of drowsiness or sleep, he shouldn't speed under any circumstances.High speeds in such cases blurs judgement unexpectedly,roads seem to float instead of heading symmetrically.I got this feeling after travelling at 110 kmph continous for over 30 minutes.A distant cycle crossing the road or a truck changing lanes couldn't be judged that properly,as a result I had to slow down to safer 75kmph speeds taking a look at my RVMs,shifting to slower lanes flashing indicators continously.Even at slow down I reach the predicted spot within 2 minutes only to find that whatever I assumed was very wrong.The cyclist completed crossing the road just a few meters from me,the truck that seemed to move like a distant speck has actually changed lanes and is in the faster lane of where I had been.One more thing,most Indians are unaware of speeds that some two wheelers can take,so even if they can see us appear in the distance they think we are coming very slow and they have time enough to do their activity by then, be it turning,or crossing the whole NH or making a turn towards the opposite side of the road.........neglecting us infact.

This same thing gets amplified triple times more on a Superbike,Supersports or a Hyperbike and even High end Cruisers.Tracking the danger becomes more difficult.We arrive at the spot of danger much faster with the same judgement, all of us are humans, some of us may have better reflexes owing to practice on powerful machines, but judgement of ours wont be electronically specific.It would be battered more if our brain starts sedating at the constant high speeds without rush of adrenaline,this thing occurs due to inadequate sleeping.So here in India, to all Bikers big and small I think it is best to play it safe.Slowing down gradually but drastically and maintaining a safe speed whenever a distant spec appears on the horizon is the best bet for all Bikes capable of very high speeds.The rest would be taken care of by ABS, and huge braking technologies these bikes comes with.I know bikes like Hayabusa,R1,Fireblade can slow down miraculously with ease if they are even around 125kmph, a cruise speed higher than many Indian vehicles.So no need of overcooking it.We spend lakhs in buying these bikes,we can easily spend few more grands for better ABS, we can spend few bucks to take them to the Racing tracks and enjoy their top speeds under controlled environs.That way we wont ever barter away our lives at the mercy of someone else's negligence.

Kriss.........I have never met you before,I only enjoyed your support for my views in a thread long ago.Your life was dedicated to bikes and safe biking, to me even in your demise you left an example to us bikers, making us concerned for more safety.You taught us the lesson with your own blessed Soul.You opened our eyes to many things we never would have imagined before.You have saved thousand more tragedies,saved a thousand more lives and bikers.Glory be on you,bless us and be our Guardian Angel in times that may confuse us.One for all, all for one.Bikers live forever....................

Wherever i Browse through in xBhp, i see his Footmark and imprint there. Lots of Gyaan learnt from him, even though i have not met him. I am terribly Saddened everytime When i think that he will no more post and share his passion for Bikes with us. Th "City of Biriyani" has lost a Gem.
I still remember his siggy.. he was in a totally different cadre. Awesome Guy!! RIP kriss!!. May you god give strength to your Family. Forever in our memories, you shall live long kriss.
