There is absolutely no need to change disc pads.. i have seen this happening in car service centers where the customer is told to change disc pads even if they are not worn and then the same disc pads are transferred to some other customer for lesser price.... guys be careful abt it... i have seen this in toyota workshop

I have done 3500 kms till date and more than 3000 in City. KOLKATA is quite busy and have to change plenty of gears. Everyday I do around 35 BUMPERs to and fro from Office to home. Quote:
More so the guy who takes care of my bike. He takes care like his own child and very finicky and meticulous. Quote:

Answered your query above. The SVC guy is too good who takes care of my bike. In fact I have access @ inside the servicing bay. I am fortunate to have this nice guy @ SVC. He is more designated for ZMR Servicing and since this is open o SUNDAYs it is convenient for me also. I oversee the entire job that is been taken care of. Quote:

May be I go in for original one and refitt to check when it recurrs for the second time. Quote:

I have felt it with my hand but will last for 2000 kms more at max. In fact I could feel the difference in front braking also. Thanks ALL for your quick and prompt inputs. BTW I had a small TRIP of 260 kms with my wife on JANMASHTAMI in a section of Golden Quadrilateral. Will be posting the Report soon.

@stayajitrc: You have wornout the pads so fast I think better talk with the service guys... Praveen has done more that 10000kms I think it will be better if he throws some light on his pads condition
one doubt guys after I rip my bike for some time the bike is smelling like heated plastic or wires from near the fairing around the engine, but it is not there when I am riding normally any of you guys observed that....

Did this for curiosity and performance checking? Quote:
In fact I suggest all ZMR owners should share their numbers amongst themselves. Rakesh, Good thought but is this deserving to be there?
