Finally it is up. Nice ride report and pics Mehul. The white ZMR is a real stunner.

And, not to forget, a big congrats to Moshin for owning the first White ZMR in the country. Enjoy the ride buddy and do keep us updated.

RTO approval is yet to come in Hyderabad for delivery of ZMR. We are still waiting.

Default hearty welcome to a new segment/class from HH

well every new bike when finds herslf launched, head turners are quite obvious for her.the same thing happened when p220 dtsfi was launched and so with R15 as well.even ppl turn heads till date.zmr is all good carrying a sporty look, but with a agressive front fairing like this,a wider rear tyre and split seats would surely have added that extra spice which is somehow lacking in it.needless to say, from the looks point of view, it surely rox, rest is performance which would make it a serious hit in the Indian market.lets wait and watch.

serious hit?? need to bet on this It already is..
going by what we saw, p220 guys taking u turns to check the bike out asking us how much waiting period was something never ever experienced before..

and for that matter, i dont remember giving any brief glances when the p220 came:P

First ZMR got delivered in mumbai. There's a cyclone brewing up... literally. You think these have anything to do with the ZMR ad ?

" This is simply what we experienced on road that first day. and the bias is justified to a very great extent. The Karizma has always been in its own league, nothing to prove to any other brand maker."

I happened to watch this video earlier. The guy from the cnbc autoshow does give some very very valid points. The ZMR is slightly better than the old iteration.but not significantly.( YEs i agree to it.)

The reason probably is that the old ZMA-R is already so damn good. So making a significant improvement on an already good package is not an easy job. so obviously now people start to question the pricing, since now they have nothing else to talk about.( Have you seen the the bike yet?? did u ride it??)

And i read again and again how much you are emphasising that its a perfect touring machine. But so is the ZMA-R. even if the ZMA-R gives an avg 10 kmpl less than ZMR, it will take 60-64,000 kms of riding the ZMR to neutralise the initial extra cash you paid on your purchase. ( I need to emphasise just simply because our good ol Indian roads ar never in ship shape..it PAYS to have a comfortable bike to ride daily.

So forget the brand war between ZMR and P220. ZMR has already lost it to ZMA-R. Sooner or later everyone is going to realize this fact!!
Infact the bookings of the R have gone down to the ZMR. Its a better Karizma.
Moreover, what does the P220 have to offer in terms of tech ha?? Does it have fuel injection?? does it have good build quality?? does it have a reliable engine?? NO NO NO!
