Its the shield makes the pattern, its very smaller than I expected. U can see the size of the sheild which makes high beam effect. Such a small size can produce very limited opening. Sheild section fitted on the half of the reflector and its not opening fully as its too small and the fixing location limitation. WIll post a pic of the shield with markings for easy understanding.

Yes u r right, low beam effect is impressive, but High Beam am not yet satisfied as am spoiled of halogen high beam spreads.

Shree is right, It came in pairs, so took only one out of it for the bike, will post few snaps of night shots shortly.

Thanks to all for the praises, its nothing to do from my part just fixing an after market kit, I wont even call it a mod, just a n uplift of lighting system. I will keep it in bike for sometime and later I may shift that to my swift as there is a chance to bring in more projectors in a short period hopefully

Excellent Stuff Sajit.

Some Quick Questions:
1) How much Expenditure incurred.?
2) Can we use a Normal 55/60w Bulb 100/90 For Ex
3) How did you fix it in the Headlight??? and Whose lens is it..?? and how much is it for.?

Thanks mate, to my knowledge very few are dealing retrofit projectors and that too not HID ready, like the one comes for Swift, costing around 14K for the entire assy. This one is an HID ready projector.

I think its possible as its reflector cavity's got ample space for a projector atleast for a 2" nice direct fit. This one is 3" so I've cut the back portion of the reflector to get the space inside. To fit a projector u need to have a min reflector cavity of 14cms as its the normal standards. I've made some arrrangements with some suppliers and so is the measurement. Here's a pic for the side elevation of the projector of 2" then u decide.

Thanks dude.
I am yet to get the bill, will update within a weeks time.
No its an HID ready projector, u cant use a halo in this as the bulb socket is too small to fit a halo. See the bulb pic

Its a direct fit retrofit type, pull out the front glass, fix the projector to the reflector with the supplied tightening nut with the kit, u can see the round big alumn nut in the pics. Fix the front glass and seal it. Fix the bulb to the projector like u replace the nornal bulb, rest of the connections etc, thats it.

But my lens was too big to accomodate the dome, so I just cut the back side of reflector to get more space inside the reflector and just scrwed the unit to the reflector. If you are using a projector, dont need the reflector so I just kept it not to tamper the original state.

There's no name on the box, so no idea, but I've got some leads about some manufacturers who can supply in bulk, am on it.

Hey Sajan, is that the same HID which you were using on stock reflector or different one. I observed it now. It looks like D2S HID. Its not regular H4, I think i am pretty much sure about that. My Benz lens requires exactly the same type of HID.

I will let u know about the pricing, as I'vent got it, may be next week or
so.

Rahul, this is the shield which makes it H4, note the maked portion, its very small in size to give a wide high beam pattern.

See the size of the sheild mechanism fitted inside the reflector, its resticting almost 50% and out of it the sheild will be opening, so imagine what could be the output on high beam. I may say marginal difference. But one thing we should accept that is, when on high beam, others do respect as for an oncomer it makes a difference when I saw from a distance.

I will take another pic and post for the shield to show how it is positioned. Its blocking almost 50% of the cavity and the shield is just opening only approx 5% for the high beam.

Few more snaps on the accessories

Here's the CCFL Angel Eye ring

And this one is the ballast connector with water proof gasket

This is the shroud with the AE ring fitted

Sajjt, its a Killer mod man, you made it like anyother SBKs lighting setup. I strongly belive that if Rajeev Bajaj sees this mod, defnitly will ask for some details At least you made a real face lift man. Its amazing mod.

Why dont you declare the price without making others in pinpoint? Or there too a secret smile on your face each time somebody will be asking the price I have some expectations on it, its a guess work, it might be around 12K for pair.I think its more suitable for your Swift rather than a Pulsar, err, am bit jealous of you having this cannon with you man.

Please post some night shots to show us the beam spreads.

Any ways goodluck to you as I cant think of such mods right now, cash crunch
